WORK HISTORY

Worked with Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics for more than 20 years in numerous areas, including population policy analysis, strategies for curbing rapid population growth, and population dynamics.

Worked with the population Council for 13 years (1992- 2004) in two operations research programs to improve women reproductive health. Last position held was "Regional Adviser for West Asia and North Africa, Frontiers in Reproductive Health Program".

Engaged in projects/ consultancies with numerous agencies, including Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center, League of Arab States, World Food Program, World Health Organization and Ford Foundation.

Honorary office and memberships

Arab Demographers Society.

International Union for Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP).

Productions and Works

She attended and participated in more than 40 international conferences.

She has published more than 35 research papers locally and internationally, in Arabic and in English.
